Does caffeine have beneficial or harmful effects on the body?

Caffeine is often used as a stimulant. That is why people drink a cup of coffee in the morning before they go to work. It causes your heart rate to increase, your pupils to dilate, and your muscles to tighten up. Caffeine injects adrenalin into your system to give you a boost and make you feel good. This is the reason why people drink a cup of coffee or tea in the morning before they head to work.Small amounts of caffeine are found to benefit people who are at high-risk for liver disease, increase muscle strength, increase metabolism by breaking down fat, freeing fatty acids and forcing them to be burned as well as increase pain relief medication effects. However, overconsumption can lead to restlessness, irritability, anxiety, heartburn, headaches (sometimes severe) just to name a few. In conclusion, Caffeine has its benefits but must be taken moderately to prevent the above problems.
