Scout---character sketch

Scout did not use violence against Mr Cunningham even though the Sarun mob was very hostile towards Atticus.
Scout used violence against Walter Cunningham when Scout got into trouble while trying to explain why Walter Cunningham did not bring his lunch and would not accept the teacher’s money.
Scout shouted at Francis and almost got into a fight with him after Francis called Atticus a nigger-lover.
Scout also almost got into a fight with her schoolmate, Cecil Jacobs after he said that Scout’s father, Atticus, defended niggers.
In school, Scout could not tolerate it that her teacher accused Atticus of teaching Scout how to read.

In conclusion, we can see that Scout is mostly very rash in her actions and intolerant of other’s insult or accuses. However, we notice that this changes as Scout grows older and matures. It is also because Scout has a pleasant growing environment where the people around her exercise tolerance. Some examples are Atticus, Miss Maudie, Jem and Mr Dolphus Raymond.
